Love & Death A Ghost Tour for Valentine’s Day Nothing goes better together than love & death! And what could be more romantic than a stroll on a winter’s evening as you listen to ghost stories and strange tales of New York City’s haunting history with Boroughs of the Dead? On this 90-minute walking tour you’ll hear thrilling tales of dark romance, including a brokenhearted spinster ghost, the scandalous tale of the Girl on the Red Velvet Swing, the forgotten queer Gothic romance of Washington Square, and a bizarre 19th century love triangle involving Edgar Allan Poe. We’ll try to answer the age-old question of whether love can persist beyond the grave as we decode the ethereal messages of a departed magician to his beloved wife. There will be healthy doses of murder and scandal, ghostly champagne corks popping at a dazzling, endless soiree for the dead, and more! The Love & Death walking tour is perfect date night for anyone who loves Valentine’s Day, hates Valentine’s Day, and everyone in between.
